Mediavest was founded in 2025 by publisher Timo Busch and M&A advisor and investor Dr. Jan-Philipp Matthewes under the umbrella of the Busch Group, which has been active at the intersection of media and M&A for over 25 years. The objective is to build a portfolio of media brands and participate in their long-term value appreciation. These brands are to maintain their independence while gaining access to centralized resources.
